Accra, April 16, GNA - Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama, a development advocate, has called for the Dagbon Youth to make peace their top most priority – should be at the heart of everything they do.
This, he said, was the way forward to attract the needed development and investment for the betterment of the people.
Alhaji Mahama, popular for his extraordinary support for the youth and development initiatives in the Northern parts of the country, was addressing a ceremony organised by the Dagbon Students Association in Accra.
He encouraged them to spearhead efforts at bringing socio-economic progress not only to Dagbon but Northern Ghana as a whole.
Alhaji Mahama underlined his unswerving commitment towards helping to improve the lives of the people.
The students applauded him for his continuous support for the association and called for others to learn from his example.
The Association, which draws its members from the Dagomba communities, has the sole aim of working for the common good of the Dagbon area.
