Tamale, Apr 05, GNA - Modern Star Integrated School in Tamale has presented its first batch of 32 candidates for this year’s ongoing West Africa Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSSCE) and the Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE), which begins in June.
The Modern Star Integrated School in Tamale presented 17 candidates for the WASSCE and 15 candidates for the BECE.
Mrs Patience Nkara Kpiniong, Administrator of Modern Star Integrated School, who spoke during an orientation programme on the examinations for the candidates in Tamale, said the school had adequately prepared them for the examinations.
Mrs Nkara Kpiniong said the candidates were trained in the three domains of learning, which included psychomotor, affective and cognitive attesting that they would perform creditably well since they were prepared ahead of time for the examinations.
She said “As these examinations mark a very crucial stepping stone in the academic pursuits of all candidates, it is the hope and prayer of Management that God will crown all your efforts and toil with success so as to justify all the investments made in you by your respective families and country at large.”
She advised the candidates to abide by the rules and regulations of the examinations.
Mrs Nkara Kpiniong spoke about modalities the school had instituted to address challenges of individual students saying academic counsellors were assigned to each student considering their individual challenges.
