Prosecution files responses to 'No Case'
Accra, March 31 GNA-The Prosecution in the Woyome case has filed responses to the submission of No Case made by the lawyers of Alfred Woyome. Mr Matthew Amponsah, Chief State Attorney, told the Financial Court hearing the matter that the prosecution had filed their answers to the defence submission of No case as ordered by the court. Mr Musa Ahmed, Counsel for Alfred Woyome, told the court that defence for now had no problem with the prosecution responding to their submission. Mr Justice John Ajet-Nassam, the Presiding judge subsequently adjourned the case to April 17, 2014 for ruling. Alfred Woyome, a businessman is standing trial for defrauding by false pretences and causing financial loss to the State. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is on GH20 million bail with three sureties to be justified. The case has been adjourned to April 17, 2014.GNA
