The Western North Regional Minister, Richard Joojo Obeng, says the wellbeing of local and civil service staff in the Region remains his topmost priority.
Mr. Obeng says he is will work to improve the conditions of local and civil service staff across the Region.
“Since l assumed office, l have worked to improve the welfare of staff in the local and civil service, which you can all attest to”.
Speaking at an event on, Tuesday, December 7th, 2021 to distribute some 138 motorbikes to local and civil service staff in the Western North Region, Mr. Obeng says the move is one surest way of improving the productivity of staff.
“As an important step towards building a strong local government service and deepening governance at the local level, one hundred and thirty-eight bikes are being distributed to some Assembly members in Western North Region. Just like the President, I will continue to prioritise the welfare of civil and local government service staff in the Western North Region.”
Richard Joojo Obeng has in recent times incurred the wrath of CLOSAG members, who have called on the President to sack him as Regional Minister.
However, Mr. Obeng says he will work with all to build a better Western North Region.
