The Member of Parliament (MP) for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Boamah, has been appointed as the board chair of the Ghana Water Company Limited.
Mr. Boamah announced this in a post on social media on Monday, September 20, 2021, to express gratitude to the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for the appointment.

Mr. Boamah previously served as Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources in President Akufo-Addo’s first term.
He is currently serving on three committees of the 8th Parliament.
These are the Finance Committee for which he is the Vice-Chairperson, the Standing Orders Committee, and the Appointments Committee.
He is a third-term Member of Parliament.
