The Member of Parliament (MP), for the Upper West Akim constituency in the Eastern Region, Mr. Frederick Obeng Adom has donated some items to the Muslim communities within in constituency.
Mr. Adom made the donation on Saturday, April 17, 2021.
The items donated included bags of rice, boxes of cooking oil, bags of sugar, and cartons of milk, among other things.
The donation was made to all the Muslim communities within the Upper West Akim constituency.
According to the Upper West Akim lawmaker, the gesture is to aid in the successful completion of the holy month.
He thus charged them to pray for unity, love, and peace for the country.
He further appealed to the Muslim communities to train the youth to channel their energies into community development activities.
The acting Chief Imam of the constituency, Armiyaw Musah who received the items expressed the gratitude of the Muslims to the MP and asked for Allah’s blessings for him.
”We are grateful for this gesture, and we believe it will go a long way to help in this period. We thank you our MP, and we will seek on Allah to bless you for this.”
