World football governing body, FIFA, has banned former Ghana FA boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi, for life from all football-related activities.
The decision was announced by FIFA on Tuesday evening after its adjudicatory chamber gave a ruling on the matter.
Mr. Nyantakyi was given an initial 90-day ban by FIFA in June this year after he was seen in the Anas documentary taking part in some alleged corrupt acts in relation to Ghana Premier League sponsorship and government business.
According to FIFA, the period of the ban was to give FIFA time to investigate the issue which had been highlighted in a petition sent by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
After the expiration of the 90-day ban, FIFA extended it by 45 days for further investigations.
The announcement of the life ban on Kwesi Nyantakyi essentially rules him of any position in either Ghanaian, African, world football for the rest of his life.
FIFA added that the ban was fully activated at the time of the announcement and that, Mr. Nyantakyi was to pay a fine of five hundred thousand swiss francs or USD 497, 550.

The adjudicatory chamber of the independent Ethics Committee has banned Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), for life from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) at both national and international level.
The adjudicatory chamber found Mr Nyantakyi guilty of having violated art. 19 (Conflicts of interest), art. 21 (Bribery and corruption) and art. 22 (Commission) of the FIFA Code of Ethics, 2012 edition. As a consequence, Mr Nyantakyi is banned for life from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) at both national and international level.
Additionally, a fine in the amount of CHF 500,000 has been imposed on Mr Nyantakyi.
The decision was notified to Mr Nyantakyi today, and the ban comes into force immediately.
