Africa’s leading career, job shadow & volunteering agency, Enquiry Agency, has held a career fair for some students of second cycle institutions across the country.
The fair, which was dubbed, ‘It’s high time’, was also to assist and guide the students to choose the appropriate career.
Miriam Koranteng, the Founder of Enquiry Agency, said the platform was to provide the participants the opportunity to meet and interact with professionals in various sectors.
Participants received free guidance and counselling tips.
The career fair was also to provide the students the right information concerning the careers, and also to receive knowledge as to how to start a business at a young age.
The fair brought together scores of professionals in various fields. They include; Dede Kwadjo – dietitian and nutritionist at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Mercy Ama Awuah Agtuahene – physiotherapist, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, and Veronica Mamle Aborbi, Public Health Nurse at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
The rest are Marc Asare, CEO of Marcusdot Architecture, Mr. Ollenu, businessman and Vice President of Italian Business Association to Ghana-IBAG, Agnes ofosu-Appiah, Project coordinator at Arch Xenus Architecture, Mr .Alexandra Walker, Manager of Standard Chartered Bank, Kwesi Pratt, Editor-In-Chief of Insight Newspaper, and Gerald Fahrin, an IT Consultant.
There were two air hostesses, Sylvia obeng and Yvonne Amuyaw – all of Starbow Airline.
Professionals who spoke at the fair, advised participants to take into consideration their passion and strengths before choosing a career.
