Global Solutions gets new country head to lead Ghana operations

Global Solutions Limited (GSL) has appointed Olufemi Muraino as its new Regional Country Director to provide overall leadership and strategic direction towards growing the company’s market.

He is also expected to ensure that GSL maintains strong partnership with its existing software and hardware partners as the company strives to strengthen deals with customers.

The appointment follows the licensing and authorization of GSL to sell and install Nautilus Hyosung range of ATMs in the country.

Global Solutions is one of the leading ICT and infrastructure services and solutions providers in the Ghanaian markets that offer cutting-edge IT solutions to firms in the financial, industrial, telecommunication, oil & gas and utilities sectors.

Mr. Muraino explained that his mandate will be geared towards stimulating stable leadership delivery of end-to-end solutions spanning software, hardware, consultancy and managed services in the ICT industry to enable customers to become the most efficient/profitable in their markets.

He said the company growth agenda will be boosted by license acquired to trade and install Nautilus Hyosung ATMs in the country.
Currently, Nautilus Hyosung ATMs are the most dominant retail ATM in the United States and it is now the fasted selling ATMs in Nigeria, deployed by Inlaks Computers, also a member of the multinational Inlaks Group.

He praised the move by the National Investment Bank (NIB) to migrate the bank’s bespoke legacy software onto the world acclaimed core banking application platform, Temenos T24TM.

Last year, NIB decided to choose Temenos T24TM banking application platforms to enable it to strengthen its banking operations.

Mr. Muraino said the strong local skill set at GSL makes the company the ideal firm to offer support services to the Temenos T24, which is an end-to-end (Consultancy, Audit, Implementation, Training and support) project.

“The deployment of the Temenos T24TM will empower the bank to run an end-to-end banking solution on a single platform and promote efficiency in their banking operations” he said.

GSL, a member of the multinational Inlaks Group is one of the largest vendors of IT services and infrastructure to enterprises and organizations.

Currently, the company is the sole distributor of TEMENOS banking software in West Africa and has the franchise for Emerson Network Power, which provides Liebert range of UPS.
