Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey showcased his attacking flair as he scored his second goal of the Premier League season to secure a 2-2 draw for Brighton against Aston Villa.
Lamptey delivered a crucial equaliser in the 81st minute, firing a powerful low shot past Emiliano Martinez to end Brighton’s seven-match winless streak.
Earlier, the Seagulls took the lead through Simon Adingra’s curling effort, but Villa fought back with Ollie Watkins scoring from the penalty spot and setting up Morgan Rogers for a second-half strike.
Lamptey’s late heroics ensured Brighton earned a valuable point, leaving them in 10th place on the league table.
The 24-year-old continues to impress with his versatility and attacking contributions, registering his second goal of the season.
