Asante Kotoko has announced the signing of Joseph Ablorh on a two-year contract, following the successful completion of his medical examination in Accra.
The Ghanaian centre-back was captured from Hafia FC in Guinea.
Ablorh, 26, was unveiled by the club on Wednesday, July 17, just ahead of their highly anticipated clash against archrivals Hearts of Oak in the Democracy Cup.
“Joseph Ablorh was a standout player for Hafia FC, recognized for his strong tackling, aerial prowess, and leadership qualities. His stellar performances in the 2020/2021 Guinean top-flight season earned him a spot in the Team of the Season, underscoring his reliability and impact on the field. Now returning to his homeland, Ablorh is eager to make a significant contribution to Asante Kotoko,” stated the club in an official statement.
