A Former Deputy Minister of Information Felix Kwakye Ofosu has said that the already signed pink sheet in the ongoing by-election in Kumawu is a broad-day electoral thievery.
In a tweet, he said “How is it possible for EC officials to supervise the signing of results sheets even before the first ballot has been cast? What kind of broad-day electoral theft is this?”

Meanwhile, the Director of Electoral Services at the Electoral Commission (EC) Dr. Serebour Quaicoe has said that the pink sheet that an electoral officer allegedly forced polling agents to sign has been discarded.
Dr. Serebour Quaicoe said this in an interview with TV3’s William Evans Nkum who is currently in Kumawu monitoring the by-election.

The Electoral Officer at the Oyoko Methodist Primary School polling station No F360203 in the Sekyere Kumawu Constituency allegedly forced polling agents to sign the pink sheets before the close of polls.
The officer whose name has been given as Norbert confirm to Akoma FM’s Antwi Boasiako off record.
But the circumstance behind the action is not yet known.
Meanwhile, the regional chairman of the opposition party NDC, Nana Akwasi has raised concern that, the EC has to change the pink sheets before the closing of elections to avert any violence.
