Massimiliano Colasuonno Taricone, the Consul of Ghana to Italy has encouraged Ghanaian forward Felix Afena-Gyan to keep his head up after missing out on the final Black Stars squad for the 2022 World Cup.
The US Cremonese man has been dropped by Otto Addo in favour of others following a subpar start to the Serie A season.
He has tasted just 158 minutes of action and is yet to score a goal or deliver an assist.
Taricone rates Afena-Gyan highly and has offered words of encouragement to him
“@ohenegyanfelix9. You have given your contribution to bring the black stars to the world cup, [but] they have decided to take away a dream from you, it’s just a hiccup, time is on your side and the best is yet to come,” he stated on social media.
