The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has put the Premier League on hold, which means there will be no top-flight football this weekend.
The decision was made after a Notice of Injunction was filed on Wednesday at the Human Rights High Court by AshantiGold and served on the GFA’s lawyers.
Following the receipt of the Motion, the Association decided to put the league on hold until the determination of a Motion on Notice for Injunction by the court on October 14, 2022. All sponsors, clubs and partners have been informed of this development.
The Premier League was scheduled to enter Matchday 4 this weekend.
