Amandou Tigana, agent of Kotoko Cameroonian goal poacher Franck Mbella Etouga, has said the player is not in haste to move out of the Kumasi-based club, despite several interests from outside.
He told Akoma Sports on Thursday, that the striker’s contract with Kotoko will be respected.
Mbella signed a three-year contract with Kotoko before the start of last season and helped them win the Ghana Premier League. He scored 20 goals.
“Mbella is under contract at Kotoko and though there are many clubs after his signature, the money isn’t our top priority. We are looking for a club with the right sporting project for him. I want a team with a plan for him. There are a lot of offers from Saudi Arabia, Spain, Germany and other countries,” Tigana said.
He also said, the player was likely to be available for next season’s CAF Champions League, in which Kotoko is participating.
“For now he may leave or stay and play in the Champions League because the transfer window is not closed yet. There are offers on the table but I haven’t decided yet, the player’s interest, for now, it’s Kotoko.”
