Hearts of Oak’s Kwadwo Obeng Jr has praised strike partner Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, who was the club’s hero in the FA Cup final on Sunday.
Barnieh scored the game-winning goal as Hearts of Oak defeated Bechem United 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium. It was a fantastic goal that deserved to win the title for the Phobians.
The 21-year-old’s heroics in the final and other games have earned him praise from teammate Obeng Jr. According to the striker, Barnieh is his best player this season.
“Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is by far my best player this season. Barnieh has been consistent since last season. He is the best not only at Hearts of Oak but in the entire league,” Obeng Jr told Onua TV.
Barnieh finished the FA Cup as the top scorer with four goals. He also scored 8 goals in the Ghana Premier League.
