“I’m a PK”
If you are wondering what a PK is? It simply means Pastors’ Kid, which we now know kind courtesy of Niella –big grin.
“I’m a PK (Pastor’s Kid). I feel like, as a PK, you’re basically part of the building of the church. We are cleaners. We are engineers. We are camera people. We are ushers. We are literally everything.”
“I figured out I could sing when I was 15 years old.”
Niiella disclosed that the activity seemed ordinary because her family usually sang together. Her eureka moment when she was 15, listening to the audio of the recording she had done of herself signing.
“I started singing when I was like 3… I figured out I could sing when I was 15. I was listening to a Kierra Sheard album (an American artiste), and I thought she’s amazing. And I was listening to her and singing along and stuff. And I was like, hold on a min…”
She’s been in the industry for 10 years!
For 10 years, Niiella has been sharing her talent with the world. The renowned gospel musician has worked with local and international gospel acts, including Joe Mettle, Akese Brempong and MOG. She is also part of the musical groups; Sanctuary Music and Spiritual.
