President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s nominee for Chief Executive of the Okere District, Daniel Nana Addo Kenneth, has been confirmed by the assembly members.
Mr Addo Kenneth polled all 33 votes, representing a 100 percent of votes cast.
This will be his second term of serving the Okere District as a DCE.
District Electoral Officer Therresay Carrey sworn the re-elected Okere DCE into office.
He promised developing the fairly new district with focus on tourism, education and social infrastructure.
Present at the confirmation was the Eastern Region Minister Seth Acheampong, Member of Parliament for Okere Constituency, Dan Botwe, who is also the Minister of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development, and some chiefs.
