Highly-rated Ghanaian youngster Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has landed in Germany and is on the verge of sealing a deal with Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
The deal is expected to be sealed and announced this week as verbal agreement has already been reached.
The 17-year-old has been linked a with move abroad after he emerged as the most valuable player at the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in March this year.
His two stunning goals – one which was adjudged goal of the tournament – propelled Ghana to lift the trophy in Mauritania.
Ajax, Liverpool and Dortmund were among Issahaku’s suitors, but the 17-year-old prefers Leverkusen, a team that secured Europa League football in the season just completed.
