Medeama are back in the top four after a late goal helped them overcome AshantiGold in Tarkwa on Sunday.
Prince Opoku Agyemang scored in the 98th minute to secure a 1-0 win for the Mauves and Yellows, ending their three games winless run.
Medeama are now three points behind first and second spots occupied by Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko respectively.
Elsewhere, Diawisie Taylor scored his 15th goal of the season as Karela United shared the spoils 1-1 with Berekum Chelsea. Karela are now unbeaten in three away games but all have been draws.
In Dawu, Dreams have moved up to sixth and two points behind top-four spot after a 2-1 win over Bechem United at Theatre of Dreams.
Also, King Faisal shocked Elmina Sharks 1-0 to climb out of the relegation zone, but Liberty Professionals remain and Inter Allies remain in the drop zone following defeats against Ebusua Dwarfs and Great Olympics respectively.
And Legon Cities secured an impressive 2-0 win over Aduana Stars in Accra to climb up to 11th.
