The newly elected CAF Executive Committee have appointed Comoros Football Federation normalisation committee president Kanizat Ibrahim as the fifth Vice President of CAF at their first meeting since elected.
The new EXCO met on Saturday morning in Rabat, Morocco.
Several decisions were taken at the meeting which was chaired by newly elected CAF President Patrice Motsepe.
Key amongst the decisions taken was the appointment of five new vice Presidents for CAF including Kanizat Ibrahim who is the first female to occupy the top position.
The other four include;
First Vice-President: Augustin Senghor, Senegalese Football Federation.
Second Vice President: Ahmed Yahya, Football Federation of Mauritania.
Third Vice President: Suleiman Waberi, Djibouti Football Federation.
Fourth Vice President: Mr. Seidou Mbombo Njoya, Cameroon Football Federation.
Mauritanian Football Association President, Mr Ahmed Yahya was coopted in the Executive Committee.
