Accra Hearts of Oak supporters chairman, Elvis Hesse Herman Jnr. has resigned from his position as a Board Member of the club.
Elvis Herman Jnr. led the supporters to demonstrate against actions of the club’s board and made some demands including restructuring the Board of the club which he was part.
The club has however said they will appoint a Supporters Liaison Officer to be on the Board.
“The Board will however meet to discuss Elvis’ resignation, and consider appointing a Supporters Liaison Officer to provide an effective channel for regular communication between the club and its supporters,” part of a statement from the club read.
Hearts have faced a lot of backroom chaos in recent times. Former head coach of the club Kosta Papic and his assistant coach Asare Bediako have since resigned from their posts.
