Kotoko vs FC Nouadhibou called off
Asante Kotoko’s game against FC Nouadhibou in the CAF Champions League has been called off as a result of Covid-19 related issues.
The Porcupine Warriors were to host the Mauritanian giants in the return leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary tie on Saturday, December 5, at the Accra Sports Stadium but the game has been called off.
????Reports coming in suggest Kotoko vs FC Nouadhibou game is being delayed because two players of the latter have tested positive for COVID-19 but they do not want to isolate since they don’t trust the results.

According to numerous reports, the game was delayed for more than one hour because two players of the visiting team tested positive for Covid-19 but refused to isolate themselves since they doubted the outcome of the test.

Players of both sides, security officials and medicals walked off the pitch during the long delay.
Any further decision will be communicated in due course by CAF in the coming days.
