[Video] Man ‘shoots himself’ after shooting another near KNUST
A man believed to be a Nigerian shot himself on Tuesday morning after a confrontation in front of Victory Towers Hostel at Ayeduase, just outside Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
Eye witnesses say the man was accused of driving carelessly by a lady.
In the ensuing confrontation between the two, another man came to the defence of the lady.
But the deceased shot the lady’s defender three times, eye witnesses say.
In an attempt to escape, the deceased’s car was crossed and hit by a commercial tricycle, popularly known as Aboboyaa.
Reports say he shot himself after sensing he cannot escape arrest or possible mob attack from shooting the lady’s defender, whose fate is currently unknown.

The police have since got to the scene to restore calm.
Some witnesses claim the man was part of a robbery gang.
