Akonnor names starting eleven for Sudan clash in Omdurman
Ghana head coach CK Akonnor has named his starting eleven for Ghana’s AFCON 2021 Qualifier against Sudan in Omdurman this afternoon.
Akonnor has made five changes to the squad that defeated Sudan at Cape Coast few days ago.
Lawrence Ati-Zigi comes in to replace suspended Richard Ofori and will have a back four comprising of John Boye, Nicholas Opoku, Alexander Djiku and Baba Rahman.
Mubarak Wakaso makes a return to the team after missing the first tie and will play in the central midfield position with Afriyie Acquah who played at Cape Coast.
Jordan Ayew has been handed the captain armband due to absence of Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey and Richard Ofori. He will be partnered by Caleb Ekuban upfront.
