Government through the Minister of Trades and Industries has issued fresh guidelines in a bid to stop the fast spread of coronavirus at work places.
According to available data, amplified by the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on Thursday, June 25, new cases being recorded are “predominantly coming from work places”.
As a result, Trades Minister Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen took the podium at the bi-weekly press update of the Ministry of Information to outline new measures to be put in place at various work places including factories in order to stem the spread of the virus.
Mr Kyerematen said government has resolved to enforce a mandatory ‘No handshake, no hugging and no spitting’ policy at all times at work.
Factories and enterprises with more than 29 employees, he also mentioned, are expected to have a registered nurse in service.
