3FM’s Fitness programme, Fat2Fit has been honoured with the 2018 ‘Advocacy Social Event of the Year Awards at the 2nd Edition of the HELEH Africa Awards.
The event which took place over the weekend saw many practitioners and stakeholders within the health sector rewarded for their contribution towards the advancement of healthcare in Ghana and beyond.
The HELEH Africa Awards which is organized by Media Men Ghana is aimed at recognising and rewarding individuals, practitioners and organizations that impact the health sector positively.
It also seeks to promote and enhance professional mentorship among healthcare practitioners within Africa.
This year’s Award was organized under the theme “Promoting total quality corporate healthcare and wellness for socio-economic enhancement through Pan-Africanism.”
3FM’s Fat2Fit which is a fitness challenge seeks to runs a challenge which seeks to help people lose weight the right and healthy way.
The programme which is yet to hit its 6th season is a partnership between Media General’s 3FM 92.7 and Fat2Fit Ghana.
Fat2Fit has over the years seen many who took part in the challenge lose weight tremendously after being taken through fitness sessions and guided through healthy eating among other things.
CEO of Fat2Fit Ghana, Akoto De Gross expressed gratitude for the Award and dedicated it to past participants of the Fat2Fit challenge.
