Joseph Kobina Ade Coker polled 319 votes on Saturday to retain his position as Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Greater Accra Region.
This is the second time Mr Ade Coker is getting reelected for the position after he clinched it in 2009.
He faced stiff opposition from former Chief Executive for Ledzorkuku Krowor Municipal Assembly (LEKMA) Daniel Amartey Mensah and former Member of Parliament (MP) for Adentan Constituency Emmanuel Nii Ashie-Moore.
The two polled 293 and 283 votes respectively at the elections which took place at the Central Cafeteria of the University of Ghana, Legon.
The fourth candidate, Yahya Kundow, polled 107 votes.
Immediate past Ablekuma Central MP Theophilus Tetteh Chaie, who was a member of the John Mahama Campaign Team of 2016, beat all other contestants to emerge as the Regional Secretary.
He polled 562 of the total valid votes cast to beat close contender Victor Quarshie (305 votes).
Aristo Nii Aryee (82) and Lois Tetteh (56) came in third and fourth respectively.
Jerry Johnson beat Samuel Ablordepey to become the new Greater Accra Communication Officer. He polled 579 of the total votes with Sammy trailing behind with 295 votes.
Latif Osman (66) and Gabby Asumeng (64) were third and fourth respectively.
Anthony Nukpenu was elected the Regional Organiser.
He beat the likes of Derrick Meyers, Maxwell Ofosu Amervor and Humphrey Tetteh Mensah to the position.
