The West African Examinations Council (Waec) has released school results of the 2018 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
According to a press release signed by Agnes Teye-Cudjoe, the Deputy Director of Waec’s Public Affairs, on Friday, the entire results of 2,061 candidates have been withheld pending the conclusion of investigations.
However, those of 83 candidates were cancelled “for bringing mobile phones into the examination hall and receiving external assistance”.

The paper results are on their way to various municipal, metropolitan, and district assemblies (MMDAs), the release indicated.
“Meanwhile, the Council has hosted the results online and candidates who so desire may access their results at the Council’s website.”
