Dancehall artiste and leader of Shatta movement, Shatta Wale has shown his preparedness to collaborate with all relevant stakeholders and agencies to work on initiatives aimed at empowering the youth of Ghana.
The controversial musician is known to have a vast majority of the youth following him, supporting his music and whatever he does.
He has always been talking about his love for the youth, and wanting to do something productive for the Ghanaian youth, and even disclosed his presidential ambition stating that he would run for the presidency if the youth deem him fit.
In his quest to help create opportunities for the youth, Shatta Wale has taken a step towards his dream of supporting the youth by meeting with the Managing Director of Accra based Citi FM, Samuel Attah-Mensah who is also the Chief Executive Officer for the Coastal Development Authority.
Shatta Wale in his meeting with Mr. Attah-Mensah disclosed that his focus has been the youth, and being a young man himself, he is very concerned about how the Ghanaian youth can scale to the next level.
He said “Majority of my following are within the youth bracket and it will be great to find alternative ways of making a meaningful contribution in their lives.”
Mr. Attah-Mensah commended Shatta Wale for the initiative and assured him of his unwavering support as he embarks on a project to empower the youth.
Shatta Wale had indicated that he and his team have been in contact with significant number of stakeholders to come up with ways through which they can create avenues for capacity building and skills evolution programs for all youth countrywide.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale is embarking on a media tour to promote his latest studio album “Reign” which will be released on October 13, 2018 at the fantasy Dome, Accra.
