Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has dismissed rumors circulating that he, together with Zylophone boss, Nana Appiah Mensah are members of the freemason society.
According to him, he is not a member of any such society, but he does not have anything against them.
Rumor circulating has it that certain entertainment personalities are pledging allegiance to Freemasonry and Illuminati, with others claiming Shatta Wale’s success and rise to fame in his music career is because of his alliance with these societies, but the dancehall artiste denied any such alliance.
“People think we are Freemason…we want to even change it to like free carpenters. People see us and they feel that this guy is dealing with occult, but you see, anybody that does not believe in God is …,” he said in an interview on Joy FM.
Shatta Wale known in private life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr said he believes that his movement, “Shatta Movement” is his Freemason and they only look up to God.
Not long ago, Zylofon boss, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM 1) sparked some controversy with a post he shared on social medial platform, Instagram.
His post read:
“Today’s riddle; I am the sun, that riseth and seteth up above the realms and in the hades and heaven above the horizon; I AM A KING. The grandmaster above who seeth ALL things; good and evil, earth, fire, wind, blood and water with the all-seeing eye! “Horus’ WHO AM I? My name is “I AM”, I am God, #supremeGod #AllseeyingEye #swordofJustice #WrathofGod #ProphecyManifesation #MomentsofDestiny”.
The post attracted over a thousand comments with many people coming to a conclusion that he is a member of the Freemason.
When the dancehall musician was asked if his boss, Nana Appiah Mensah, is a Freemason, he replied by saying “he is my boss, I don’t know, maybe I have to ask him but if he is, that is a very prosperous one because I like that guy.”
According to him, it is a society that people are in, and there are groups of people who do things themselves so he sees absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Shatta Wale disclosed that he has heard myths and read about Freemason and their activities, and that he has come to the conclusion that, it is a normal thing and sees them as serious men who want to make it in life.
The dancehall artiste who joined Zylofon Music on January 31, 2018, is set to release his third studio album dubbed “Reign”.
He revealed that, Reign is an album that he feels will let people know his two different worlds, since it shows the other side of him.
The 17-track album which features Nigerian Hip pop artiste, Olamide will be released on October 13.
