The Chief Executive Officer of A1 bread, Nana Poku Osei, popularly known as Hammer, and his team on Tuesday, August 1 donated an undisclosed amount of money to 3 Foundation and gave 500 loaves of their new wheat bread to the staff of Media General.
“We are donating some money for the hole-in-heart foundation. We usually give back to society but this is the very first time we are hearing about the foundation. That is why we are here today.”
According to Hammer, they could not come empty-handed and have not come to TV3 to officially announce their presence.
They, however, brought the staff 500 loaves of their new wheat bread to appreciate them for the good job they are doing.
A1 bread which came into existence in 2008 in Kumasi brought their market to the Greater Accra Region in 2017.
He expressed happiness about the move, saying Accra has been good to them.
Hammer further went on to say that A1 is creating as many jobs as they can for the youth.
They do not necessarily have to sell on the streets as they can sell at the comfort of their home.
Also, A1 is trying to collaborate with MTN Ghana so that the people who sell airtime and mobile money can sell the A1 bread.
He advised the youth not to “wait to get a huge sum of money before you start your business. But rather, start your business with the little money you have and make progress”.
