A 37-year-old police officer, Gasty Yahaya Seidu, a 35-year-old security man, Seth Kponyo Dodzi, and a third person have been arrested in connection with a robbery incident at Okwenya Filling Station in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
The robbery incident took place on Monday, March 26.
Police reports indicate that the suspects inflicted machete wounds on two security men on duty.
Several items were found on them after their arrest.
Superintendent Asare Nyarko said one of the security men who was beaten mercilessly helped in identifying the three suspects.
He is currently recovering at a health facility.
